They need to add penalties for leaving… System like 30min penalty for 1st, 2h for 2nd, 24h 3rd and 1 week for 4th. And if you get disconnected from the match, we should have option to reconnect to the match. The system as it is now is a joke

Pokémon Unite has something called the loyalty system. You lose points for quitting social and ranked and if your points aren’t high enough you cannot play ranked until you regain enough points. You can only earn a capped amount of points back per day too.
I like the system, it’s good if you get AFKers in your match or quitters. They are punished.

Based on the amount of cheaters at the moment I’m not sure if it’s a good idea. Normally I’d go yeh agree but unless 343i turn off the F2P or at least let us switch off crossplay then I’d say no. I don’t want to be punished for quitting for not wanting to stay in a game where the opposing team are cheating.

Sorry that was aimed at the guy who gets all the cheaters. I’m in Onyx and haven’t come across a single cheater in 500+ games of matchmaking social and ranked.
Can’t believe it’s so frequent honestly based on my own experience to even come up in conversation. But if the guy is 2,000 Onyx rated then maybe he’s experiencing something I’m too lowly rated to see.
Platinum 1. Why should it matter? the higher ranks the more noticeable it becomes. There’s plenty of evidence of people cheating on Youtube. Having a hard time believing you’re at Onyx and claiming you haven’t seen any. 
I think your are likely mistaken in your identification of “cheaters” if you think you are experiencing it regularly in Platinum 1 level matchmaking.
Onyx in Crossplay, Solo Controller and Diamond in Solo KBM.
I mean they usually lose a full division tier for a quit/leave. You also have to remember the game isn’t exactly stable on PC and there’s no way to rejoin an in progress ranked game after you disconnect or crash. It’s more stable on the base Xbox one lol, but even that crashes once every 10 matches in my experience.
Basically 343 needs to work on optimization and stability and add a rejoin option for those of us who want it.

That seems unlikely. I’m not mistaken and I’ve seen it enough times. It’s bit difficult to get a higher rank when the enemy seems to know my exact location no matter where I am… All higher rank generally means is you probably spend more time with a group of friends and coordinated together. I’ve been playing halo for over a decade and I can tell when something doesn’t feel right. I have also seen things like ‘dummy accounts’ and it’s pretty obvious what there for. I hold my own fairly well in-game but there are times where it’s painfully obvious that something is not right.
I’ve only played solo in ranked, none of my friends are very good at Halo so we stick to social. As a solo player I’ve managed to hit these ranks.
I’m now almost 100% certain you aren’t playing cheaters. More skilled players can often determine where a player will be or is based on the position of teammates, enemies, recent deaths, and map control/game sense. Often you will know where players have spawned/are likely to move to. It’s just a skill players pick up over time. Some players are unfortunately super predictable. You usually aren’t reacting to another player as much as you are preempting them.
I’ve of course seen evidence of cheaters online, even that is scarce and they no doubt exist but not regularly. The average player may have come across 1-2 in 100s upon 100s of games, if that. Especially at Platinum in Crossplay I just imagine you think people are cheating when they are just outplaying.

I don’t think you’re a liar, I think you believe you are playing cheaters. I don’t think the people you think are cheaters, are cheaters.
While you may find it insulting, I don’t believe you have a level of skill that would able you to even determine it unless it was outrageously obvious. In which case I would welcome any videos in support.
Next time you suspect someone of cheating, watch it back in theatre mode and see what is happening.

I have played a few ranked matches and it took a while to notice there wasn’t a penalty system. Without a penalty system it makes playing ranked almost pointless. Ranked can’t be taken seriously if people can leave when they want to. I thought a penalty system in competitive modes was a standard thing.
