Since the update in the last week that reset everyone’s ranking, matchmaking for ranked matches has gotten way worse!
Before in single/duo console ranking I was mid gold and was in matches against players +/- 2-3 gold levels. Now, since the reset I am mid silver (expected with the patch notes) but I am being matched against people high gold and platinum.
So, I hold my own, but my K/D ratio may be slightly negative like 10 kills 14 deaths. And my ranking keeps dropping despite being placed against people anywhere from 6-12 levels ahead of me and despite doing well with the objectives in the game (other than team slayer as mentioned above) since high ranking players only care about K/D ratios.
This matching SUCKS!!! And, if I am even remotely close in K/D against people that far ahead of me, I shouldn’t lose ranking?!?!?
Come on 323, fix your matchmaking. The game went from fun and competitive to complete BS. You should roll back the update and keep fixing the release before subjecting people to the stupid consequences of your updates.
Honestly, I kind of feel like turning off my console until it gets fixed or only playing fiesta since you go into it knowing it’s not fair since everyone starts with random weapons.
