Ranked matchmaking should restart if the game starts with a leaver

I hate getting into a ranked game with 1 player down due to them crashing or leaving for whatever reason, the game is impossible to win and if I leave I get banned. This makes no sense, just restart MM when this happens to keep it fair.

Agreed. I’ve been in 3v4 matches - what’s the point?

Agreed, it was super annoying in Splitgate but it also stopped you having an unfair game played. With long wait times once I spent over 30 mins of having games restart due to this rule until I finally got one. It can be annoying ha.

Yeah its messed up, 2 times today we get into match and 1 guy down, should be able to leave rank game with no repercussions like Rocket league.

We either stay and lose or leave, lose rank progression and get banned… Snoochie boochies.

I agree to an extent, to a certain time limit should a restart happen, first few minutes whichever. Just nothing too lengthy that can be abused.

It’s ridiculous, the fact that the ban penalty stacks without some sort of warning or doesnt even give you a timer is so frustrating. Ive been on my promo game into Onyx 3 times and have had some -Yoink!- happen with DCing now I cant play the game for an intractable amount of time.

I think that if someone leaves a ranked match, a spartan bot should take their place. Not as good, I would think, but close enough.

I don’t think it should restart. It should just not count as a loss.

Agree, there is no competitive fairness with 3 v 4 and it become pointless to play in such a case.

This !!^ even in quick play bots take their place sure they may not be popping off or rotating but at least it takes some of the pressure off the losing situations which is the entirety of the game depending on when someone DCs/ leaves.

I am almost positive that your rank is not affected for winning a game when the enemy team is down a player or losing when you are down a player. I have seen it happen both ways and not lost or gained anything.

If it happens 2x, 3x in a row or within an hour-ish of each other, which has happened to me, you will lose Csr and receive a ban. Onyx here, after being booted off of my promo a bunch of times
