Ranked matchmaking is completely broken

Ranked is borderline unplayable because of two major issues; cheaters, and the game thinking that your performance in social is indicative of how you will perform in ranked. When I did my 10 placements, I played with two friends who are mid and high Platinum, and we played against teams that always had at least one Onyx player, and the rest mid to high diamond. We lost all games but 2, and only won one because the enemy team quit in the first 20 seconds. Today I played with my Diamond 1 and Platinum 6 friends, and we played nothing but high diamonds and onyxes. A couple matches were nothing but Onyxes, including streamers and ex Halo pros. We won no matches out of at least 20, and I would say that about 90 percent of the lost matches weren’t even close. How in the world does this make sense? How can Me and my friends be plat and low diamond, and play nothing but Diamond 6’s and Onyxes simply because we play a lot of social and do well there? Ranked is way too broken to be even slightly enjoyable right now, and has League of Legends levels of toxicity and sweat. And all of this is ignoring the blatant cheaters in onyx who can 180 snap headshot you as soon as you shoot them in the back, or who drop down on you hiding behind a wall and prefire you before you can even see them. To summarize, YOU SHOULD NOT BE FORCED TO PLAY AGAINST ONYXES SIMPLY BECAUSE YOU PERFORM WELL IN SOCIAL… End Rant.

Not even. Was just trying to play some fun ranked with my friends, and we didn’t win a single game for over 3 hours because we played people way beyond our skill level. Until they make the matchmaking more fair, I can’t imagine having fun in ranked currently.

Well I am only Gold 3 in Ranked and the enemy team were all platinums. But could also be, that not enough people play that game when I am online.

rn im floating between diamond 1 and 2 and i don’t think I’ve ever played an Onyx yet tbh. i wish i would tho, you’ll never improve playing ppl worse and on par to you.
