when someone leaves on ranked matches the ranking should give you more xp to rank you up when you stick around to get battered when your a man down but instead the rest of your team leave and your left to try and win 1 v 4 and then your ranked down even though you done your best to try stay alive against 4 players

I could see the argument that it should negate the match and not count against you, but I don’t think it should automatically give you experience. Teams could manipulate that to their benefit. They could just have it where they take turns having one person quit each match. That way for every four games, you get experience for 3 out of every 4 matches, while each person takes a hit for only 1 out of 4.
It should just be no CSR change if you lose a 3v4 game. You should be able to quit any unbalanced game without penalty, but that’s another discussion where 343 dropped another ball. It’s baffling how 343 hasn’t figured out that people queue up for 4v4 games expecting to play a 4v4 game, and that they shouldn’t be penalized for 343’s lack of critical thinking.

If you don’t bother to pick reliable teammates before hand then that’s on you. You enjoy what you get and if one leaves/disconnects/crashes then you deal with the consequences of not picking your own reliable teammates or try and push harder for that win.
People would bring throw away accounts or bully teammates to try and force them to leave so they could discredit their loss.1111
You’re going to have to learn to suck it up and deal with it.
I played loads of rank games that discredited matches when a person left. Nothings funner to have all your wins negated because someone on the other team left. or someone trying to avoid losses by dropping expendable account teammates so he cannot go down in rank.
That’s a terrible take
Most people aren’t picking their teammates, why should they be punished for a random fill completely abandoning the team they chose to load in with?
Imagine if Apex didn’t let you quit when your teammates both DC, people would stop playing quickly because no one wants to 1v3 an entire lobby.
Same logic applies here. We are playing ranked to 4v4, not 3v4 Nd lose rank because someone disconnected at the start…

Recently i had more ranked matche where:
- it started uneven 3 vs 4
- where people left, dont know if they crashed, got disconnected or just quit
- i got disconnected a few time and got the full CSR penalty, because its my fault when the servers are unreliable
