Hi there employees and workers of Halo 5! Just wanted to point something out to you dckheads. I have been frustrated long enough over this. SO! I queue up in a RANKED match, wait a little bit. After a few minutes I get a game and it loads in-wonderful! But then something happens. Either quickly off the bat or soon thereafter, I get a teammate who leaves, this happens often. I JUST got out of a match where we were down 3-10 in ranked Slayer, I catch us back up and then realize 2 of my 3 teammates are AFK, just standing there. I do my best to fight without them and keep up, but the enemy team is gaining points by killing my lifeless crew that stand there. Then, one of them leaves, the guy who was still actually playing. Then, the OTHER two leave as well, leaving me to a 1 vs. 4 scenario. I know what you’re thinking, it’s only like 9-12, I can solo this potentially, so I stay to try and ghost around and gain kills to get the upper hand and hide for a win. After a few minutes I sit there and it becomes 10-16, I get irritated. I can’t do much when 2+ are on me always somehow, so I end up leaving the game. I get the warning of losing REQ points, losing this, and losing that, not realizing that even though 3 of my teammates, even if it was just 1 or MAYBE 2 left, that I’d be exempt from any penalties because hey- I’m the only one on my team in this game, right? Wrong. I get demoted back to gold 1 after working so hard to win and promote and climb and I get penalized…for leaving a 1 vs. 4…Why? This has happened before, someone leaves and then maybe another does and so I do as well and it adds up to the shtty consequences of getting the “Banhammer” for an hour when all I did was leave a game we’re 8-10 points down with one person down. Again, I ask WHY? Do you not have the common sense, nor the intelligence, to put in effect some sort of exemption that if you lose when down a player, since they spot isn’t filled by another, that you aren’t penalized a loss in the books because sometimes you simply can’t win a 3 vs. 4, or in doubles a 1 vs. 2? OR some sort of rule or code that if you leave when 1 or more teammate(s) have left that you don’t get punished when you would rather not sit for 5-8 minutes just to get brutally beaten down by 2 or more of the opposing team? I am sorry to be suck a dck about this but this game is the SOLE AND ONLY reason I stick with Xbox versus going to Playstation so that I may actually play with my friends, and you guys can’t even give players the courtesy of putting in a safety net for those who get left in the middle of a match.OH! Also, one more thing. I get into a game where my teammates kills me for the sniper rifle because I got to the power weapon and he wanted it. Fcked up, right? he then proceeds to have an all out brawl with his OWN TEAMMATE, killing me 4 other occasions on PURPOSE and I retaliate twice and after his 4th time, I repeat, 4TH TIME killing me, I killing for a 3rd time and then I get booted from the ranked game for killing a teammate multiple times. Where. The -Yoink-. Is the logic in that? If only you’d be so discerning as to put in a little change in that coding or rule so that if he was the FIRST PERSON TO KILL ME FOR NO REASON, no enemy damage taken or anything so it didn’t even register as a kill for the enemy team, that upon HIS 3rd or 4th time killing me he’d get booted instead of me having to get booted simply for retaliation less than he killed me? I sit there after games and report these people. I go to their gamercard and report them for “quitting early”, for the “unsporting behavior”, yet I am still punished equal- if not more- brutally than they are for what they do. It’s simply asinine. For the love of God can you folks please put in something to help those who actually try to play and stick through games, regardless if you’re down 10 points and the one guy with the sniper rifle thinks he has the sword and tries to close range his enemies only to find it’s not going to work without great accuracy? PLEASE?
