Im playing with Xbox One X and elite1 controller
Itried the game two month ago and put it away for a few month
No Im back since one week and I am improving my skills A LOT
First I did a lot of Quickplays because I wanted to fix My KD on TRN
I litterally dedicated last week playing a lot and watching videos etc
Im playing better than before and Im really happy to watch myself progressing
BUT. I started Ranked, I was bronze and now Im silver, WHY THE HELL AM I FIGHTING AGAINST PLATINIUM ?
Then I realized this game want me to fight like I want to be Onix just to be Gold
GIVE ME THE RANK I DESERVE. I WONT AMUSE PLATINIUM PLAYERS BECAUSE IM NOT A BOT GIVE ME MY RANK OR I LEAVE THIS GAME UNTIL YALL FIX THIS S

So if I want to be Gold I must fight like I want to enter Onyx and If I want to be Platinium I have to fight like I want to be pro ? Is the issue that its placing you against tougher opponents than it should? I run into a mixed bag like that too, but in Diamond you run into Onyx players who aren’t good and just found a way to grind that high, and Platinum or Diamond players that are actually really good and trying to grind to onyx. I think the population is just too low to really have perfectly even matchups.
That’s exactly the problem I’m actually struggling with. Since yesterday I can’t play. Normally it’s mixed but now it seems like I’m the only silver ranked in each games ! Today I woke up very frustrated and first game was 4 opponents vs 2 of us. I left the game like they all did. I can’t see the stats on that one but I’m pretty sure I was the only silver ranked… again. I think I’m going to stop this game until 343 drop a hotfix about it. You may be right, maybe there isn’t enough players but i can’t believe it… there is a lot of content on the web and so many people seems to play it daily. I think they should fix the way a player is granted whenever he is improving his skills with consistency a whole week like I did. Maybe there isn’t enough casual players or new players which is understandable… but what this game tell me is the fact I can’t solo grind anymore. I bet it will be same problem in crossplay queue if I get to the same point. It’s sad… I tried hard and deserved at least a fast climb to gold but nothing will happen. How frustrating it is to waste effort and time… I’m happy because i improved etc but at this point I need to be rewarded to continue playing. Sounds logic to me
You don’t really get much for ranking up in this game anyway. You get an emblem for every milestone tier, and if you make it to onyx you get a recon helmet keychain. As far as the clout goes, nobody can really see your rank unless they go out of their way to search your stats out.
My main advice is to not let it get to you, it’s not a big deal to anyone else. The game has way too many glaring issues as it is
Feels bad… I love competition. I love trying hard and training and self questioning. Without that I can’t improve. I’m those type of guy that can’t play just for fun lol I know it’s bad. They litteraly took me the reason I’m playing multiplayers Halo. I don’t even ask to being placed platinium which was obviously my skills level last week but at least I want something that keeps me in this game. It feels very bad because it was first game since a long time that runs well on Xbox one X at high ranks stakes. I’m going to play pokemon and wait for the hotfix lmao
