yeah it’s so soulcrushing to invest so much in the climb and maintenance of skill and rank only to get a slap in the face after a hard earned win. At this point the cutscreen post game is equally intense as the match itself… yikes. It really is unaceptable…

la verda a mi me esta fallando mucho el modo de clasificatorias en el sentido que cuando juego una partia de clasificatorias y la gano no me da mis puntos correspondiente y cuando pierdo me los quita. la verdad estoy un poco decepcionado por esto por que hay gente que se esfuerza por intentar llegar a un rango y no les dan los puntos que merese y la verdad es algo estresante que te suceda esto
Happened to me a bunch of times over the last couple of days. 343 needs to fix and maybe drop a free skin in the HCS store after this big waste of time.

I had this happen a few times yesterday, today it has only happened once in about 10 games.

Dude it’s so bad for me that I’ve only lost csr on a loss once because my opponents have been ranked so much higher than me on most of my losses. Then when I finally get a balanced match and do well, the game either crashes or gives the unavailable bug like you mentioned. This game is disgraceful.

Is it just me or does it seem to happen more during oddball on Recharge? That’s what just happened to me…again.

I noticed that if you get killed and open/close/open the game stats while waiting to respawn sometimes the name of the person who killed you becomes unavailable.
I thought for sure that was a sign it was going to happen at the end of the match, but I got my increase for the win.

So, it’s a known issue… has 343 addressed it in any way in their recent posts? I’ve skimmed them, but couldn’t find anything.
Like, should I wait until Tuesday for an update to play Ranked again? Or should I just put it down until Season 2?
I’m legit worried every game I play in, even if we’re DESTROYING the other team, that all my effort is wasted with nothing to gain and everything to lose.

It started happening to me at the beginning of the week. I sent in a ticket and the reply was:
“Thank you for your ticket. At this time, we don’t have a workaround and can’t predict when there might be a resolution, but your issue has been logged with our developers. They will use the information you provided during their investigation.”
I am just putting down ranked until the Tuesday patch and hopefully, it is resolved by then.

2 wins in a row and no progress towards my rank. This is a very unacceptable issue and deserves more urgency than just appearing on their “Known Issues” list. 343 Industries should explain why their dev team seems to be prioritizing a Big Team Battle issue for the February update over one that should be considered a more serious issue as their competitive players are not receiving credit towards their rank in the game’s competitive ranking system.
An issue like this would be addressed in a proper announcement asap if this was a Blizzard Entertainment game and most certainly be resolved with high priority. Like shutting down the servers for a couple of hours to fix it kind of urgency. Players appreciate that kind of thing if it’s to fix issues.
There should really be a red banner or some notification on the multiplayer screen for players to see that there is an issue with the ranked arena so we don’t waste our time and ruin our rank due to a bug. Seems like 343 Industries has poor management somewhere on their team.
This is the kind of thing that makes games lose players when new games are released…

Today it seems to be stable. The last 2-3 days it happened very often (message rank unavailable). After winning a match didnt get any csr point for my rank.
Today ranked is working, i get csr points after a win. Maybe i had just luck.
It’s still happening to me and I just finished 3 ranked games in a row with nothing to see but UNAVAILABLE. I’m never gonna leave current rank at this point. 343i has to fix it’s Ranked Playlist soon after the BTB one.

Not sure if this is happening across platforms, but I’m on Xbox Series X. My game doesn’t crash tho, but the Rank Unavailable problem is current.
It still not working today game after game of wins with no csr even when top scoring player in points and kills.

I know the feel, I got the problem 3 days in a row and lost a bunch of rank xp cause of that. I wouldn’t mind that much if it was on both wins and loss but it happens only on wins.
I suggested 343 to give one rank to players that have encountered that bug due to the big rank xp loss we suffered and they asked me to discuss it here
