I was in the top 600 or so players for about a week, at the time it was top 1%, but haven’t played doubles since FFA came out so people eventually passed me. Still in the top 1500 for rank alone. Top 1000 for multiple stats.

I get lots of bad servers too, I think it’s just because the population is so low it’s desperately trying to match anyone it can.
One game I’ll be 30 the next 120 ping, it’s a nightmare
I wasn’t even playing ranked in season 1 because of how enflated the ranking was.
And I doubt the stats on halotracker are accurate either.
Yea I should just let the enemy team have the power weapon that spawns five times in one match.
GAs are dumb.
I mean, I got to 1600+ while adhering to the GA, other than maybe 2 games where the enemy team was doing nothing but using sword-grapple and it was getting annoying.
It makes you play better when you don’t have crutches to rely on. It also encourages a lot of weapon variety. I really learned to respect the disruptor and needler, among other things.
I adhere to GAs in Arena. That’s it.
Besides, Recharge & Catalyst are but two of the maps in rotation. And I get plenty of weapon variety.
Most of the time, I have WORST desync in 30 ping servers. 40-60 is the sweetspot for me. Not that it matters because I get put in 200-250 ping US servers most of the time with varying desync even when I can get put in a few 60 and under ping servers in a row. Normally this happen when I start playing well…

The local servers are not preforming as well as the ones in the USA but the room is made up of the players that are joining so its not so much the ms of the server its the ms of the players joining that’s the problem you will also find that allot of EU players getting pushed to the USA so it makes sense that you are all having a balanced game because its a bunch of eu guys all playing in the USA lol
