Ranked FFA Proves How Much of an Advantage Series X Players Have

What it means is that you are in the top 1% of people who look up HaloTracker the most.

Harder to define what that actually means.

I didn’t miss at all is what you’re misunderstanding. My reticle was in line for a perfect 4 shot with both clips. In both clips, multiple bullets just did not damage at all

See, thats where you are wrong.

And thats just a quick YT grab… you could probably go back 1 or 2 frames and have an even bigger gap.

Pair that with desync and a server which calculates it differentely to what you are seeing and voila, you got yourself a typical halo situation for ALL platforms. But in this case, you just didn’t aim well enough (i know, thats not an option in your world…)

You don’t understand this game at all if you think that’s a miss.

You play on console with red reticle but you don’t seem to understand the concept of bullet magnetism. This game has HIGH bullet magnetism. Like, as much or more than any halo.

His shields are pinging where the bullet is causing damage. It’s the second bullet in that burst that just does nothing at all even though it hits the spartan in the thigh. If you watch the video you see me micro-adjust the aim to center mass mid burst just to make sure. That’s the whole point of it going in slow motion in the video. It’s like you didn’t even watch it.

You’re ignoring the fact that he 3 shots me. You’re ignoring the fact that in the second clip he is only half shields despite me shooting him 4 times without missing a single bullet. You’re ignoring common sense. You’re ignoring how scuffed this game is and how crossplay is directly related.

Then go play on xbox if you think it’s such an advantage. You’ll realize there are issues on xbox as well.

I’ve played it on xbox, it runs way way way better. Not one intelligent person who has played both versions will argue with that. The PC version is a scuffed, buggy disaster.

I don’t want to play it on xbox, I want to play it on my gaming pc like all my other games.

They need to fix their screw ups.

When you have all the pros saying the Xbox Series X version is clearly the superior version of the game, someone should listen.

Holy crap just stop playing the game until the issues are fixed to your satisfaction then. They’ll take note when the population dwindles even more.

We can all agree the game has issues, just be more constructive about it instead of assuming people lack intelligence if they don’t 100% agree with you. It definitely comes off as some kid throwing a tantrum.

Prove it because people keep saying this.

I have not seen any xbox players posting videos of these issues happening. I’ve done the leg work and it’s pretty clear.

Can you show me any video proof of an Xbox player having the exact issue I showed?

I acknowledge it’s possible, but I haven’t seen any proof.

That’s a really interesting point. That’s what they proved was wrong with MCC’s incredibly bad hit detection for years, and they finally fixed it.

Basically the original halo 3’s base hit registration was directly linked to the game being played at 30 fps. So when they upscaled it to 60 fps it broke the whole thing. They eventually, and I mean within the last year or so, went in and fixed that issue.

If the series x is locked in at 120 fps and doesn’t drop frames like pc’s do, then it’s going to directly influence hit registration.

Holy crap you might have solved the entire riddle.

Man it must be nice living in a world where nothing is your fault, everything and everybody else is responsible for failure and even proof and facts are completely worthless.

You missed shots, the game sucks on every platform, desync has many variables and thats it. End of story. You even have provided video proof.

But yeah… keep living in your bubble and go rage mode like a little kid who ain’t getting these candies it so desperately thinks it deserves.

I literally did not, the video proves it lol.

Stop trying to gaslight me, it doesn’t work.

Playing Social Slayer (Kong Slayer and Ninja Slayer) this week was enough for me to realize I also experience desync and lag issues, and I tend to play on an Xbox. I don’t need to prove anything more to you since it’s completely not worth my time. I’m done arguing with someone who won’t even attempt to compromise their line of thinking.

So anecdotally you have seen problems with kong slayer.

I have as well, and is the main reason I don’t want to play it.

But I saved clips

I’m on xbox and play with 10 to 23 ping, on average, and I feel like people kill me way faster than they should. Or my shots don’t register…or just add anything else here. It is frustrating, I agree with you 100%. It’s not just PC players. It is everyone. Just reading this forum I have seen Xbox S (me), Xbox X, and PC players all saying the exact same thing.
At some point it needs to be directed back to 343, as this kind of stuff has always has been on their end.

If i was playing on 10 ping I’d be an unstoppable god, that’s wild

I am. I’m saying they screwed up the crossplay so bad that the Xbox and pc versions of the game don’t communicate properly.

I tend to stay pretty neutral in life, in general. I do tend to clip not only good stuff, but stuff I think is BS just to review it later and realize I did, in fact, screw up somehow. Does it make me feel good? Nah. But I still process it and understand it was me…
That said, I slowed your youtube clip down to 0.5 speed and took this screen shot.
This was your 3rd shot, which completely missed and hit the box behind the player.
Just look at the screenshot…from your video.
Also, you missed your headshot for the kill. The bullets hit the chest and shoulder.

:man_shrugging:

The shot didn’t miss, it’s literally pinging his shields. He’s flashing green from taking damage.

The reticle wasn’t center mass, but the bullet magnetism in this game is very strong, and the bullets veer towards people in RRR. None of the actual bullets “missed”, some just simply didn’t register. In the second clip the first 2 shots did no damage at all, despite hitting every bullet, for instance.

Your brain must hurt from calculating the bullet magnetism in action.
If you are a god with ping 10, please never play on lan tournaments… lucid and co would cry.

At this point im pretty convinced you are just trolling and laughing your -Yoink!- off reading and posting in this thread.

I’m not sure why you think I’m bad at this game, as I’ve given no indication that I’m bad at this game. For some reason people a fraction of my statistical rank and kd seem to think I’m bad at this game lol wtf

never said you are bad… your blown ego is just funny, that’s all.

edit: though it’s kinda funny i can’t find you on halotracker^^

I’m not even expressing any ego, I base my arguments on evidence. Data. Proven results.

I say something is a problem, provide video evidence, and the reply is passive aggressive ad hominem nonsense instead of an actual rebuttal.

I provide statistics and someone says they prefer to just assume the numbers don’t matter.

I both these cases, the people involved in the discussion wouldn’t even be allowed in the same lobbies I get stuck in on a daily basis, thanks to the strict sbmm.

Well heck, I guess SBMM is working as intended after all
