I mean, yes, I already matched one PC cheater using wallhacks, got the clips from theater, reported him to 343, yadda yadda.
But every other match is full of xbox players who eat more shots than a vaccine activist and can literally 4 you through a wall across the map.
I don’t know what it is about the two versions of the game not communicating properly, but I really wish someone would address it. Or just give us the ability to turn off crossplay please.
This is a desync issue. But yes, Xbox does have an advantage. However, it’s with things like melee lunge and red reticle mostly.
If it’s a desync issue then that means the desync problem is with the pc/Xbox gulf
I don’t get these issues playing in solo/duo, although I can rarely find games in it anymore
Frame count. Consistency of the frame count. Running off a SSD compared to a HDD. Probably other user setting that is available to Series X compared to XBOX one, if any.

Funny, on my XSX I barely get either of these things happening for me. Melee lunge = a way to do it consistenly, or it’s just luck when the game decides to give it to you?
Not sure if this is a blanket Series X user thing because I play on Series X and I run into the same issues you do while playing where you get melted super quick, shot through walls, shoot people a million times and they never die. Heck I can’t even count on my melee lunge to work properly half the time because it whiffs and my opponents seem to be able to melee ten feet to reach me. And all of this is on a game by game basis, some games feel decent and others feel like crap, low ping or high, doesn’t really seem to matter. I just think the game has so many underlying issues that it’s a coin toss as to how each match will play.
Don’t know if its true, but my guess would be it is crossplay with all these platforms. You have higher aim assist on consoles, massive FPS differemce between console and PC, PC players strafing quick like hell. Add the lack of geo filtering and you get the mess we have.
Wasn’t 343 talking about showing all players ping and not only your own? Im pretty sure you could see a pattern there if you have 1 guy with a very high/very low ping.
I just know that every single match seems to be won by the series x player who was impossible to 4 shot like they weren’t really there
never heard of anything like this, not a fan of politics but i’ve heard of anti-vaxxers, personally i would’ve said “take more shots than a heroin addict or a frat boy”
Just out of curiosity but how are you able to find out if your opponents are playing on either console or PC. I ask because I genuinely would like to know, are you asking these people or is there somewhere you can pull this info up?
I play on a Series X and i see desync issues almost every game. The melee is so inconsistent that i try to never be at melee range. I die 3 or 4 steps around corner’s - at least the length of a S7 sniper all on 28ms ping. All the time, all times of day, everyday.
And i have kids melee lunge at me like they have a halo 2 sword, honestly they should be wearing a cape the way they are flying at me. Its so annoying, fml. Bye
Sounds like server and desync issues instead of what platform they’re playing on. Shouldn’t there also be an option to only play PC players? I haven’t played it yet so don’t know.
Those who have better performance have an advantage in any fps. It’s literally not fair for someone playing on a junk 30 fps xbox one to play someone else at 240 fps on pc. This is relatively new issue for console players, but anyone on pc knows this.
I’ve been surprised that no one has really thrown a fit about it yet - or maybe I missed it. Guessing because if we divide the population even more, there won’t be jack left. Really if people cared about ranked like in other fps, there would be more complaints from the xbox crowd.

Yea, see I have always wondered about the difference in performance and equipment because I have a Series X; however, my living room tv its hooked up to will not support anything above 60 hertz for gaming, so I have been stuck playing at 60 fps ever since I got the game. And I know I am probably playing against some people who are pulling 120-240 fps and how much difference that makes in overall in-game performance. I have heard that it feels like a completely different game once you jump from 60 fps but I honestly don’t feel like buying a new tv/monitor right now.

If they’re on pc they have a little computer next to their name in the Xbox app, and an Xbox icon if they’re not on pc.
If that’s the case then it’s directly related to the platform, because mixed lobbies are where these problems are the most prevalent
I’ve played all the versions of the game and the series x is the most stable build that exists. It’s like an entirely different game
Like others, I also play on a Series X and I also experience all the problems that you are describing. I have a friend on PC that doesn’t experience this stuff nearly as much as me.
There are definitely connection issues but it isn’t a console vs. PC thing where one platform is always better than the other.
stable but desync is as common as on PC. At least it is so bad that I can’t tale the game serious anymore.
