I know I can’t be the only one in a situation where I have one buddy I play with regularly and we both prefer doubles over arena. Why can’t this be a permanent playlist? So what if the population is low, it’s what we prefer.

Yep - permanent playlists should be ranked FFA Doubles and Arena.

I totally agree. Me and a buddy have been grinding to get to onyx and it feels as if they take it out every other week. Definitely needs to be permanent.

It feels like pretty defeating when the playlist gets taken out. I wish it was permanent too.
100% agree. I don’t generally play the come and go ranked modes because why put forth the effort to get the rank and try to improve if it just disappears in a month. If it was permanent I’d play the heck out of it

Realistically ranked should have the following permanent playlists:
- Ranked Arena
- Ranked Slayer
- Ranked Objective
- Ranked Doubles
- Ranked SWAT (Tactical Slayer)
The problem is the player population in ranked is two low to support more than one playlist.

Made an account to say I just want to play ranked doubles, the reason it cannibalizes ranked arena is because i know doubles will be leaving in 1=2 weeks., so why play/grind?
Please, just make this game a bit more fun and leave as a permanent ranked playlist. PLEASE 343!!!

Match Composer would be even more efficient. Plus, 343 could have gone a step forward and let you put on weightings what you wanna play. 80% slayer, 15% objective, 5% Attrition. MM searches for the best matches in terms of sbmm and ping. One step further and the game shows you 3 variants including ping and map and you chose what you wanna play. Yet another measurement the reduce quitting.
But for such systems you need time and good designers. Apparently 6 years were to less, as far as it concerns the good designers I better not say anything about them.

Welcome to the community. Not sure who manages playlists for Halo but its terrible and stale in every title. I’m convinced whoever is responsible for playlist management doesn’t play the game and has never had their finger on the pulse of the community.
Ranked Slayer first before FFA
Ranked Arena and Ranked Objective is redundant and the population would not support this

There should also be a ranked BTB but I’m not seeing many people talk about that…
If ranked slayer gets put into a playlist it should be like it was before. Radar and full sandbox. But I agree yeah there definitely needs to be a ranked slayer playlist. It always had the biggest population in previous halos.
If the game had these playlists the population would be so much higher.

I agree with you. Instead, 343 makes these different playlists and doesn’t focus on the social engagement of infinite. The focus is the shop.

I think ranked BTB was very popular with the clans - considering there isn’t much activity for clan support in HI I wonder if the clans are still about? It would explain why BTB ranked is not called for on here.

+1 My friend and I haven’t played since it was put on rotation. Does anyone know if the rotation is regular? So we can always know which two weeks it will be available?
