Not sure if its just me but they seem to pair me against teams far better then me. Im an ok player but the teams i am playing seems to be very high diamond or onyx.
The match maker is struggling a bit with the lower population. Teams are a wider range of ranks than it would otherwise like.
But also, early in the season, it’s hard to judge the teams on CSR.
After placement your MMR can be 2 to 3 tiers above your CSR (your MMR curve is still wide). It takes up to 45 games or so for the CSR and MMR to come together.
The best judge of team balance is the average MMRs at the end of the game.
If you do cop a mismatched game (eg. vs squads) then keep in mind that your MMR takes this, and your personal performance, into account. So while your CSR may take a hit with the loss - your MMR can hold strong, or even move up!

Ranks were reset yesterday with the addition of the ranked doubles playlist. So a lot of people are unranked right now that are actively playing.
