Saying the child can’t get their participation medal but they can go play the same teams next door for nothing is a bit unfair though isn’t it?

It happened to me 
Jumped on with my son - and got the error message.
Disappointing.
So we jumped on a game of Team Slayer and then a game of Social doubles. Had some fun!
I think that may have been my first ever game of doubles - and we won! So now I would like to formally announce my retirement from the world of Halo doubles.
Couple of other mates jumped on. More social slayer and tactical slayer. Still having heaps of fun. Another friend so we moved to BTB.
Didn’t seem to miss Ranked at all!

My friends and I wouldn’t play much ranked if we got BR starts in other playlists (BTB, for example).
Until then, I guess we will smurf and boost as needed so we can keep playing together in ranked.
If only 343 would just implement a match composer system like MCC has where people can pick what they want and then everyone can be happy.
