Ranked Arena is Terrible

Besides the glaring issues with progression others have pointed out, I have no idea why Devs chose to make Ranked Arena instead of ranked team slayer. Ofc you can play nonranked but the matchmaking is super uneven and competitive is fun. Strongholds is the absolute worst. Its basically just running around in a circle to get to the last stronghold that your team lost, Capture the flag has the same issue with clustering around the flag and ends up in stalemate w both teams having flags at other side. Oddball is the only marginally fun mixture. People want classic halo and that’s ranked team slayer. Besides that, ranked matchmaking is a train wreck bc as soon as someone on your team leaves you’re essentially going to lose, make huge penalties for leaving the game and fix the servers which keep dropping people then bring in new players mid game and mitigate their score regardless of win/loss. Also It seems totally unnecessary to get rid of the sensor for ranked.

Honestly, maybe just split it into Ranked Objective and Ranked Slayer, just like how I think Quick Play should be reduced to “Team Objective” (no slayer) because we now have Team Slayer as a standalone playlist.

Would help slightly increase control over the modes you queue for and reduce overlap.
