Ranked 1v1 should be a thing. With no power weapons and classic rules. Ie no sprint spartan tackle, ground pound ect. Just two players with brs. Who would play this?

they made a custom game option for things like this, get a company or fireteam together for it
Ranked 1v1 sucks, they had it in Halo 2. What usually happened was that someone would get 1 kill ahead, then camp with a power weapon for the rest of the game. It’s awful.

As he said no power weapons you did not read it clearly, but yes I totally agree with you on this subject I’m a 1v1 person it brings me pressure and its makes me do better to versus one person cause you don’t have to worry about being shoot from behind

Yeah I missed the no power weapons part. But camping would still be a huge problem, as some people will happily hide for 10 minutes while you run around looking for them.

I agree, with the camping part definitely I camp but for like 30 seconds then leave I know that’s still camping to some and I understand that definitely, but people that, start beating you by, let’s say 2 kills then hides the rest of the game this is what I dislike a lot
Na that aint a real 1v1. I really want one too but it should be the way arena is now just 12 mins and 15 kills. In real 1v1s you fight over power ups and such. Go to gamebattles or pgl and youll see
Make the arena barren and it might work. No camping if there is no cover in sight…
I would love a ranked 1v1. I don’t think they should completely eliminate the H5 physics and abilities, but definitely no power weapons.

The only thing I could think of is a marker above the players head. Like what happens when you see a flag carrier. I didn’t get the chance of playing halo 2 online. We didn’t get Internet till lil before halo3 dropped. Anyways, I thought it could be an interesting play.
Or maybe leader gets the marker over their head. It would really test your skills if you didn’t have all the spartan abilities. Also is any one else picturing ivory tower when I mention this? Lol.
If they were do it, it just needs to be like breakout. If someones camping all you have to do is cap the flag and your good.

obviously not enough to give it a dedicated playlist.

I would prefer to see armor abilities in a 1v1 playlist as well.
