No point to getting worked up about a rank right now. They have confirmed a rank reset after these MM issues.
I wouldnt play for ranks yet. They will just keep getting reset until this gets fixed.
They’re resetting ranks anyway so who cares? It’s not working as intended due to the matchmaking issues. That and customs allows you to rank up.
Apparently you weren’t there for the old Halo 2 server resets… Everyone was reset like 5 times.

I 100% agree with this. I haven’t bothered to run the Anniversary ranked playlist yet just because of the first couple of confirmed reports of ranks being reset for the first time. I don’t see a point in playing that playlist till the ranks are fixed.
I’d keep away from MP, right now at least.
They’ll fix their -Yoink- ups soon, hopefully.

I play that playlist just to play on the maps. I could care less about being reset. I just want to play.
They are going to continue to get reset until they resolve their matchmaking. As announced on their Twitter @halo.

This. I don’t like to judge, but you should play a playlist because you enjoy its default settings. Not because it gives you a number next to your name. Play 2a team slayer because 2a is actually fun, don’t avoid the playlist because it keeps resetting or they plan to reset it.
