Please consider ranking Team snipers and Big Team Battle.
It will make those game types much more fun and popular.
Plus, use larger maps for slayer. How about the large maps you are using for Team snipers.
I fail to see how ranking BTB would make it more popular. I know I speak for a large portion of the halo community when I say I like to avoid ranked playlists. Social playlists aren’t as stressful and are more accessible, as you don’t need necessarily NEED a team to excel in a team playlist.
BTB has always been a social playlist and changing that now would just be one of those strange changes that truly only effect the game in a negative way.
Uh, ranking the games mean you would play with people of similar skill level. Stress? Why would you get stressed out about a game.

For social snipers maybe big map but to rank btb is bad idea to implement.
BTB was ranked when the playlist first came out it and it was amazing. I had champion 3 in the playlist, I think the playlist should be ranked again. BTB could be one of the big players playlist for serious games and if you want a social / laid back type of game “most of the time” go play Warzone. People who prefer playing bigger player gamemodes get a serious and non serious playlist, filling both sides of the spectrum.

big maps should be for high player gametypes (the BTBs) and objectives where there is a way to control how players move.

- Hidden MMR
- The game’s ranking system is abused by high leveled players who use smurf accounts
- BTB needs JIP if it wants to stay alive and making it ranked would remove that

Warzone isn’t BTB.
Warzone isn’t Slayer, it’s a strange MOBA-Halo hybrid.
Warzone isn’t for everyone.
You have three gamemodes for Warzone:
Normal Warzone where you get pissed off because the enemy team just stole that VIP Boss kill from you after unloading an entire rocket launcher into it while your team can’t do anything to defend that remaining base and you end up getting farmed for twenty minutes by -Yoinks!-!
Warzone Assault where you suffer from the terrible spawns that lead to you getting killed two nanoseconds after you spawn in only to end up getting farmed by a team once again!
And finally Warzone Firefight where crappy boss placements leads to you and seven other players being forced into a home base to kill some overpowered hunters, terrible player spawns that spawn you across the map while you have ten seconds to kill that Warden, stupid objectives that go down in two seconds by knights that spawned behind you, and the increasing respawn counter that leads to you sitting out of a game for thirty seconds as you watch your team die, among more issues.
But no let’s force social players into these three gametypes because BTB is for serious tryhards now! Let’s force social players to play three stupidly broken modes that’ll cause them to quit Halo 5 all together!
BTB being ranked would be one of the worst things you could ever do to this game. It was a mistake when they made it ranked originally and we should be thankful 343i hasn’t listened to people like you about making it ranked again.

You already do for the most part. The system is still there they just don’t show you the ranks anymore.

A good majority of people don’t like to play Warzone.
Team snipers yes, btb no.
I ranked Plat 1 when BTB was ranked, and I would love to see ranks return. There were less quitters, even though we have JIP it is still a hindrance when players quit. Also I believe the games were more evenly matched when it was ranked.
I know there is a hidden mm system, or at least that is what is being claimed, but in my experience as a random, average skilled player I was matched with and against more players at my skill level when it was ranked. Yes, it is a social playlist, but there are a lot of players that still take it seriously and are getting matched with the players who aren’t make it not as “social” as some think.
I love BTB so much! I’d love it to be ranked. 343 pls
