Invisible ranking??? Might as well not even give us rank. There was a simple solution to this. Make competitive game types ranked. And social game types non ranked. Cheating is not hard to stop your just lazy…
Oh yeah… what about the bragging… well guess what there will be even more bragging now. Kids will lie and talk so much trash about their invisible rank just as much as the visible one.
Visible won’t hurt your sales or revenue at all. Stop with all of your excuses. Or do you guys can’t even get a high level at your own game and feel bad when kids talk trash to you online??? Cuz i seriously don’t get it.
You’ll still be able to see your rank, your rank will be visible to you. No one else. I do however hope there will be an option for this to be visible or not visible.
There you go… even a better solution. Show your rank if you want to. Why can’t there be an option to show it and hide it… That would seem to be the most fair. To casual players and to the competitive.
I’m more worried about having balanced matches in matchmaking.
If the balancing system in Halo 4 feels like a copy paste from Reach AND I can’t see the skill rank of my team mates and my opponents, then that would bother me.

I think that’s even worse then having your rank set automatically invisible or visible.
