The ranking system in this game is so unfair. I’m consistently put with people better than me resulting in a loss and drop in rank. When I was qualifying I was playing with high diamond and onyx players. The last match was made of mostly Platinum players and we won. I got ranked Platinum 4 but the majority of players I play with are still high diamond and usually 2 or 3 are onyx. As in I am literally the only Platinum. I don’t get it. If I was diamond sure, and it seems to me that the game is treating me as such but my rank is Platinum. To put it simply I should not see diamonds and onyxs more often than Platinum. I played for 4 hours today and there was 1 game with other platinums and a gold. It ruins a fun game
I agree, I always end up with a player whose skill can’t compete with the other team. I’m ranked Onyx but get Plats on my team and not being able to carry them against other Onyx/Diamonds on the other team. Sometimes I even get a Gold on my team and usually I do good but my team brings me down, it’s so frustrating.
Its not all CSR, theres a thing called MMR (Match Making Rank) MMR is relative to CSR and takes your KD/A, Accuracy and Win% and slams it together to give an overall rank. You could have a high MMR from playing well individually which puts you against tougher opponents/higher CSR opponents. So this is the outcome of having a low CSR and high MMR, the game thinks your individual skill is actually that of a high diamond/onyx.
I agree like in slayer when you get more kills than someone it ranks you lower.
