So let me get this straight. We were consistently matched unevenly in games (3v5 2v6 etc.), players often had host advantage due to connection issues and could even kick others from the game, intermittent lag due to server issues, and after all this nonsense all 343i is going to do is set the stats to the appropriate place such as custom k/d not applying to rank? Not a word mentioned about resetting stats completely?

A small patch? Not what I’m seeing/hearing. Small patches don’t have to go through certifications.
Yeah a small patch in comparison to the massive amount of bugs not mentions in the patch notes lol besides they have said many times that all the stats are gonna be reset as soon as the MP is fixed 100% so just chill and play my rank has been reset like 4 times just from the game -Yoinking!- up. #ItsGonnaBeOk
Why worry about it? does your rank in halo define you as a person? It definitely does not in my case.

I see were he is coming from… Lots of people play the game for the ranking system as it makes the game more competitive. Why a bunch of my friends and I play it because we are competitive and it makes the game a lot of fun! Until then we just play custom games and mess around to have fun. When you go into unranked/Social games its not fun when the kids are soooo bad you go 20-0 and can 4 shot everyone because they don’t know how to strafe. When you get to rank 40 you know you are playing with people at your skill level and makes the game challenging and more importantly fun! Right now you can’t do that.

Rank defines all hardcore halo 2 player from back in the day, so yes rank defines us.
