I am looking to get back in to Halo Reach and I would like to start anew.

Is there any way to have my ranks/commendations reset?

Not that I know of without breaking the rules. Getting a new GT I suppose.

343 reads these forums regularly but I am pretty sure they don’t do that.

The users on bungie’s forums sent me this way to get it done. Hopefully they’ll be able to help, I dont really feel like getting a new gamertag. I like mine

Well the B.net users were correct in sending you here because 343 is in charge now but I don’t know if they will do it for you. You might want to PM one of the Admins about it. Good luck.

i asked for this before aswell and they dont do that:S even if you have your credit reset you dont lose your commodations… i think all you can do is make a new account

Have you tried deleting your game save files from your HD?

That’s what you get for boosting. It’s a double edged punishment, you get rank reset and it’s more difficult to rank up.

I always thought they reset ranks, but left commendations. That would really punish people more, right?

In any case, I think the OP’s best option is to start a new Gamertag.

As far as I know, the only way to get your rank reset is to get banned and reset. Sorry about your luck buddy!

Yeah… that’s no good. And I never got banned for boosting, I guess I should have made that clear in my OP
