Were everyone’s rankings reset and if so, how come?
We are at the start of the first “Season” now, so all ranks were reset.

Does anyone know if you can grind yourself from Platinum to Onyx within a season.

Of course, have a good team and never lose a game.
I got to Nova in Reach, 130 in 4 and was groping for Diamond in 5, but thanks to all the quitters kept vacillating in Platinum.
343 I hate this game even more now. Resetting is a joke. First you succumb to the whining of the ineffective players to pull Orion from rotation, now this. I like having a long term ranking goal to reach for - like Inheritor.
I cannot stand that there are 2 maps that were changed slightly and renamed so you could call them new. Eden/Empire and Regret/Truth.
I’ve been playing Halo since CE on a PC. I love this series, but you guys are taking all of the fun out of it.

Lol what you want isn’t a rank though your after a grinding system which Halo 5 still has you can still get to SR 152 or whatever it is. Both systems in Halo 4 and Reach were just time played ranks basically and meant nothing about how skilled you are.
Can I just stay at Silver, cause that’s what I was in Slayer and TSlayer? I have no desire to play at insane competitive levels, nor do I want to get stomped on for 6 more qualifying matches against diamonds and golds. It’d be nice if the system remembered your last rank, and then have you qualify against those people again. It’s a serious turn off for me if I have to deal with this during every reset.
Well given that i was 13 points from Champion tier, i will not be playing halo anymore. My previous stats are not listed, my previous rank is not listed on any of my playlist. None of my Ranks were below diamond on anything. If there was a season switch it should have been made known before the grinding started or i would have stop. If anything gets reset it should be the onyx and champion tier. Back to onyx to build up to Champion. Not the lower tiers. SOme -Yoink-
