RTx4 Instinct here. Does anyone know when the Halo 5 January 2016 season ends? It may sound like a stupid question but my guess would be the 31st? Thanks.
I don’t think we know with any degree of certainty… but Feb 1st would be a good start.
I agree Darwi, it would make sense, and keep it simpler to remember.
Since this is 343, and they toss logic out the door; my guess is January 27th.

Yes.
The only exception is the current ‘January’ season, which is one and a half months (started mid December).

If you’re good enough to make diamond this season, then you should be able to make it from your placement matches or a few games after.

Season resets help prevent people from accidentally making it into leagues that they aren’t actually good enough to be in. The more seasons they play, the more accuratey the rating system can pin them at for hidden CSR and use it to determine their placements and results accordingly.
It will take time.

Yeah I agree. Pre season I got diamond in arena and slayer 2 days before reset, this seaon I placed plat 5 and went diamond pretty quick. Mainly solo searching.
Nobody knows.
For some reason 343 seems to think not telling their playerbase about anything is the way to go.
