What was the point of the rank reset? The system only value kda still and not doing the objective which leads to idiotic gameplay. You can hold the ball all 200 seconds and not get hardly any csr if you win. What was the point? Ranked still accounts for mmr so its still easy to manipulate and doesnt value anything but kda. Not damage, not objective, nothing but kda and winning. How can 343 not see how that effects games? Watched frosty get an overkill to start oddball at streets and no one picked up the ball. The enemy team actually touched the ball first. This rank reset seems absolutely pointless and still misses the point by a wide margin and creates stupid gameplay where no one will pick up the ball after an overkill. Its literally like they dont even watch the hcs and remotely understand whats happening… really dont understand why a reset was needed when its literally the same exact flawed system. To the team that developed the ranked values, I strongly suggest you start watching players like apg or lethul or idk all of cloud 9 since none of them consistently average high kda but have won 6 tournaments in a row… why doesnt optic always win if Lucid is always positive…because its not how the game works.
Why even do the reset on the 22th when the anti cheat comes out on the 24th… does that make any sense at all… im sorry but 343 needs to be more efficient then wasting everyones time with a rank reset that has all the same flaws it had before.
Placed gold 6 on one profle doing the objective and playing 3 vs 4. Placed diamond 2 on another just playing slayer every game. Do you understand that im the same player that placed in both…this system is trash.
