Rank Reset in order to implement the CSR 600 limit in cross play so now I can’t play with my best friend in ranked. This is something nobody wanted. Everyone was cool with their ranks now this makes the game even more anti social. Another horrible move. Games out for a year and you can’t give us a competitive FFA ranked Playlist with BR starts and no radar. Give me a break.

Yup. This is the most anti-social Halo yet. And they wonder why it can’t retain players? Halo was meant to be a party game that was also a shooter. But 343 has removed the party from the game and made it as anti-social as possible.
Maybe they should actually make the game fun to play with others and give us the tools to make it easy to make friends and party up in game.

It’s interesting.
The match maker has recently been increasing the range of ranks on both teams due to the low population. People hated it. The better players have to carry hard. The lower players just hang on and survive - and expected to go negative in every game. And even if you did get a team based around your own level - invariably there is a high Onyx on the opposition.
And from other threads, it seems clear that the population really doesn’t like these games.
But that is also what squads were doing when they joined with wide range of ranks. Forcing those exact same mismatches on the rest of the players in the game. Both for your team and the opposition. But unlike the couple of friends just wanting to “hang” and have fun - the other SIX players had to suffer.
And I guess the final nail in the coffin was people using squads to manipulate the oppositions average MMR and grind CSR. Those games were a dog’s breakfast to be in - and in Season 2 they were happening a lot (at least to me).
Ideally what you would have is a separate ranked playlist where you could take in uneven squads. Or have to wait and be matched against other identical squads (however long that took). Or, as you mentioned, your own Social playlist with similar requirements (343, we need a match composer ASAP).
