Rank reset 2.5. Where were you and where are you now?

Just curious.

Like the title says. Ended at Plat 4 in open and started at Gold 4. Can’t hardly find any matches for Solo/Duo controller. Seems like they are lowering the starting ranks quite a bit.

I got plat 4 in crossplay. I dont recall doing particularly well but last reset i was put in plat 6 after my 10 matches.

I’m unranked, and I will continue to be unranked, until we get region selection in the game.

Ranked open and ranked solo/duo are the only playlists where I get 90+ ping literally every single game. I get 30 ping games regularly in every other playlist.

After the last reset, I felt like i didn’t get a single fair ranked match for almost a straight month. It was just nothing but lag lag LAG every single time.

And it’s absolutely freaking ridiculous that Infinite launched into the 2021 FPS market without region select. Such an absurdly poor decision. Ranked sucks right now.

Did ranks reset? Why?

They’re currently testing new CSR calculations and MMR/CSR matching settings.

It seems like people are getting initially placed generally lower than the previous system. I’m unsure if they’ve widened or tightened the allowed MMR/CSR window to allow teams to match though

I was Onyx 1700+ in crossplay and I placed Diamond 5 which is the highest possible.

I placed Platinum 6 in solo/duo and Gold 6 in team doubles. Which makes sense as 343 made the placements much much lower this time around.
