Should rankings really be invisible?
This is just some of the rank-related threads I saw on the first page of the forums. Just the first page. Really guys? Do we really need 5+ threads on the same topic? I came here to discuss things like pre-orders, new trailers, and topics on canon, and I all get now is rank rank RANK!
Does this make it 6?

It was just as bad when there was 10+ threads per page on the LE of the game. It’s aggravating, but that’s just how it is. Those threads are just people posting concerns they believe should be recognized by 343i. So lets not just dismiss said threads. If you don’t agree with them or don’t like the topic then simply don’t involve yourself with it.

I think the problem he is concerned with is that all these Ranking System threads are quickly pushing out legitimate threads about other Halo 4 topics (yes, there is much to discuss and get amped about other than boring old pro/anti-ranking system arguments).
The LE topics were mostly legitimate, since there was concern over false-advertising and people’s money was at stake. But the whole rank fiasco is just ridiculous.

Ok and what’s to say that their threads are not legitimate. This is forum and their opinions are valid. Who’s to say otherwise? I could say that the LE fiasco is ridiculous, but that’s an opinion from one person. These people making rank threads feel they have the right to post their concerns and they do.
Now to avoid the arguments I’ll just end with this. Anyone on this forum has the right to post their opinion. You don’t like then don’t read it. If the mods on here feel it get’s bad enough I’m sure they’ll start removing more threads. However that’s their decision not yours.

The mods are just letting people get their frustration out. They’ll start merging them once it’s died down a bit.
