Rank per playlist / Exp

Would you like to see Exp per playlist / Rank per playlist

Something similar to what HALO 3 had .

It showed your xp in that playlist

I loved it

I think it gave people something to strive for and it showed how much they liked that playlist and kind of what there skill in that playlist is ( kind of )

Thoughts ??

It would be cool to see your stats and win% in each playlist but I was never big on the levels for each playlist on Halo 3. I’m cool with just a general leveling system like Reach.

Maybe like a win/lose in, each playlist .

EXP for each playlist is a good idea. I still think it should be added on. Maybe colours for your spartan should have to be earned. At 15 EXP (gain EXP by winning) you go from grey to white and so on… Or maybe do it in the order of the Belts in Karati (or what ever its called). But EXP should have nothing to do with unlocking weapons.

I hope 343i makes the right decision.

Yes

And bring double exp weekends back .

I don’t really care. I just want them to make Halo fun again. I’m not still hung up on halo 3. Just make it not suck, no one cares how much exp you have on you ts 50.

that made reach get boring real quick.

I understand / But it gives people an insensitive to keep play and to keep play that playlist …

And that’s huge it makes people want to play the game …

I think it would be a nice addition, yes.
I also think that we should use Reach’s ranking system.

What? Shouldn’t the incentive be that it’s fun to play?

Yes.

I loved it in Halo 3. It’s one of the reasons I played the game so much.

No. The problem with previous ranking systems (reach doesn’t count) was the pyschologically appealing “collectible” was tied to skill ranking. Everyone likes to level up, but not everyone should level up.

H4 needs to have multiple systems- the collectible cR or Spartan points etc and the skill ranking.

all it showed was how many games you have won it that playlist
it was just xp in said playlist not a DIff rank altogether .

I hope on the service record we can see how much xp someone has overall unlike Reach. I also hope for xp per playlist.

Its what made me new playlist and old one a lot more .

EXP per playlist LFG

I liked it
I was able to shows people what playlists I was good at and how much I won in that playlist.

Some variation of this would def be cool.

My biggest question is: why can’t they display TrueSkill as a value we could use for ranking?

Personally, I’d like to see Halo 3’s per playlist rank and Reach’s overall rank in play. The former shows your level of skill, the latter, your amount of time played. Because, honestly, the biggest problem I have with Reach’s ranking system, is that you can’t gauge a player’s skill from the lobby. In Halo 3, you knew what was coming when you saw certain ranks, but in Reach, it’s completely random.

so you’re saying that there was no connection between exp rank and skill rating in halo 3?

You could always check their k/d. Not 100% representative of one’s skills, but then again, with all the boosters and purchased accounts in Halo 3, neither was the rank displayed.
