Its already been three days since the transfer of servers from Bungie to 343i and yet I am still having my rank being reset to recruit. None of my friends has had this problem for as long as I have and I have not seen anyone else with this problem on matchmaking as well. Is there anyone else out there that is still having the rank set back to recruit and not being able to complete challenges?
Does your “actual” armor show up in The Armory section?
It shows my actual armor in the armory but my rank will revert back forth from my actual rank to recruit whether in a lobby or in a middle of a matchmaking game.
happens to me all the time, what i do is unplug my wireless router then plug it back in. maybe that will work for you.

Well, unplugging my router did not work and now I am still a recruit again. Anything else that I could do?
Buy a piece of armor? Maybe it will recognize your rank.
Just tried that and it did not work. I was playing matchmaking with my friends earlier and they even saw my rank go back to recruit but no else did. Is there a permanent way to fix this?
Also, this happens to my brother’s account as well and our profiles are both on the same xbox so can I do anything with the xbox to fix this?
Try recovering your account from Xbox LIVE.
If that does not work, clear your console’s cache.

Hmmm, I know this sounds far fetched but is your NAT Type set to OPEN or Moderate?
If it’s not on Open, then open the ports needed for it and see if that fixes the problem.
