The 1-50 ranking system is great. I’m glad, after 6 or 7 miserable years without ranks in Halo, Frank O’Conner’s old man hipster -Yoink- decided to finally allow ranks back into Halo.
BUT
why do you insist on half doing it?
i) I would love to hear an explanation from any of you as to why, after you announced you were taking the ranks out of all playlists but H2A just a few days before launch, WHY is that still the only rank we have?
ii) Regardless of the disappointing fact that we are forced into one playlist for a ranking, I’m still pleased that you brought them back. I just would love to know how you neglected the whole purpose of the rank once you implemented it into the game! WHY DO I CONSTANTLY PLAY WITH LEVEL 1’s and 2’s?! I’m a level 23! WHY AM I GETTING INTO GAMES WITH 40+?! Back in H2, with ten year older technology (and one would think less intelligence) if I was a 23, id jump into matchmaking and get paired with a game full of 20s-25s.
Do you guys not know how much of a difference that makes? It gave all of us that feeling that we were all on the same playing field. We were where we belonged. We knew that the half of us that made the right decisions and played better were going to earn a higher rank at the end of the game, and we were jacked to play! It’s natural and a giant DUHHH that you don’t get the feeling and satisfaction of knowing that if you outsmart the other team, you’ll get the win, when the other team outranks yours by an average of 10+. DUHHHHHHHHH
I strongly believed microsoft would put the future of halo into capable hands. Haven’t doubted it since you guys took over. Even after the poor decisions you made with H4. But I am almost certain, now, that you people are inadequate to do the job you were given. You should sell the rights to Halo so someone can make Halo 6 the right way, like the name deserves.

Im not “whining,” I’m stating the big issue I see with the game at this point. You have a better way of trying to get through to 343, please let me know.
