Now that Halo 5 has released, each of our personal favorite Halo’s might get mixed up, so I thought it’d be interesting to see what everyone thinks of Halo 5 in comparison to all the other Halo campaigns.

The games we will be ranking are;

  • Halo: Combat Evolved - Halo 2 - Halo 3 - Halo 3: ODST - Halo Reach - Halo 4 - Halo 5: GuardiansBecause Halo Wars is in a completely different format, you don’t have to include it in your list.

Now just to clarify, this is the campaign we’re talking about, do not factor in any of the multiplayer side for this, just the campaigns specifically. Along with that this is also about the whole campaign as a package, not just one specific section of it like the story. So if you really like the story for a certain game, but don’t like its gameplay mechanics, then that will drag it down as a whole.

So, what is your ranking, how has Halo 5 mixed it up, and why is it in that order?

  • Halo 2/3 (Pretty much the same arc. Don’t shoot me pls.) - Halo 3: ODST - Halo: 4 - Halo: CE - I’d probably put Halo Reach and Halo 5 in the same spot here. Can’t decide which one I disliked the most.That’s just in terms of story though. Gameplay wise, you could probably just reverse the list, save 2 and ODST.

It’s still a little early for me to make a call on Halo 5 because I only just played it a few days ago, but I’ll try.

I’m still sort of in the honeymoon phase with Halo 5 so take it with a grain of salt. It’s definitely one of my favorites though.

The only reason you’re here is because of how awesome Halo CE was and is. If it stunk, this community wouldn’t exist.
