I thought that once you got placed into a division you could go up but not down. you know no lower that Division X Tier 1. I was playing SWAT and dropped from Plat 1 to Gold 6 last night. When did this change or have I always been wrong?

That was changed last year. You can go up or down depending on your win rate.

Well then lol, I don’t play a lot of ranked but when I do I’m usually mid division so I never noticed you could drop divisions. Thanks for the info.
It use to be that way but they changed that last year mate
Yeah that’s dumb that they changed it. Because I’d like to get to a diamond, then just grind that up. I understand ranking down from champ to onyx and onyx to diamond but diamond to plat, is dumb

Not really. You’re not doing yourself a favor. If you really belong in a certain rank, then you’ll eventually get back to it.
