Is anyone else hoping that there won’t be such a thing in Halo 4?
(For those that don’t know there was a rank cap in Halo Reach that lasted quite a while (2-3 months i think not sure)
I think there will be, but it will take forever since you can re-enlist once you reach the max rank to become specialized.
I doubt there will be since there was no beta but i think it would be fun since this time i have live so i would be able to rank really high without seeing it then get on one day and BAM high rank.
Does it really matter?
All ranks showed in Reach was how addicted you were to the game and now how good you were. If the new ranking system is based around true-skill or a new way of measuring skill as devised by 343 then no, I do not expect a rank cap.
However it will be fairly safe to assume that there will be some sort of credit cap, at least with the first few weeks of Halo 4.
