Why would 343 put a rank cap, when you hit level 70…this is quite dumb I shall say…

If people only play the game to increase their rank, what are you guys going to do when you hit SR130 and can no longer rank up? Are you just going to stop playing Halo 4?
is better to stop playing halo 4 being rank 130 than stop playing halo 4 right now because we are 70

I just don’t see the point in playing a game if you’re only here for the ranking up. It will stop eventually.

No, i love halo i would never stop playing it. But not letting the people who bought the 60 dollar game use the other specializations because they didn’t want to spend 40 extra dollars or couldn’t because they already sold out of the limited version is a bad move. I mean i hit 70 last night i can’t even play really because i have so many commendations that are almost done. I just think it would of been smarter to let everybody have access to the specializations upon buying the game, halo has never been about paying extra money to have more of an advantage over other people and its kinda sad to see it moving in that direction.
By the time people are hitting 130, the CSR 1-50 system will be out to give people a reason to play.

That info has been known for months. Don’t act so surprised that you don’t have all the specializations. Also the perks you unlock via specializations are not great. You rank up crazy fast anyway, so even if you don’t get XP from the commendations, it is not a big deal at all.
You hit level 70 already? great wait a wile and you get the other 6 specializations soon.

Exactly, you can’t play because of commendations, they wont be worth anything if you kept playing…

Maybe some people enjoy playing for the ranking. Just cause you do not, doesn’t mean other can not find enjoyment in that particular aspect.
I am lvl 60 and could start OP spec, but i’m waiting for the other 6 (hoping tomorrow). I played a few games at 60 and got no xp. It felt very unrewarding.

Very aware, but you can get to waypoint straight from the halo 4 dashboard. And it’s even more idiotic for 343 to put in a lvl 70 cap and a daily exp cap when they have a double xp promotion. Just plain stupid.

Because, people who bought the limited edition get the other specializations right off the bat… so they can keep ranking up.
People who have the limited edition have access to all 8 specializations right now so they could get up to 130 if there wasn’t an xp daily limit.
Gotcha, that’s not fair though, I bought the limited edition but I don’t see why they’d cap people who didn’t. PS. Oops, forgot to quote. lol My bad.

No i have never been an achievement/commendations -Yoink!- but if i played i would lose out on over 20000 xp worth of commendations. Now tell me who really wants to give up that much xp?
2 reasons:
- So people who have no lif----- have too much free time don’t rank up too quickly and to give people with liv---- not as much free time to catch up.
- It is a way to encourage people to go outside.
