me and my friend reached rank 24 and then no more??? is there a rank cap??? and if there is when are they removing it it???
Yes there is a rank cap, and we don’t know when they’re resetting it each day.

its a daily limit XP cap…
you’ll probably have to wait till midnight to gain more XP.

Fix’d; just because a rank cap reminds one of the Lt Colonel Grade 3 of Reach, which was a different situation. This is just a daily EXP cap.
Yeah, i’ve been stuck at 24 for 15 hours now, ruins the purpose of trying to get ahead of the competition. And getting an early start. Hopefully something is done soon.
Would love to go back to exp grinding.
daily caps are the dumbest -Yoinking!- things imagineable. WHY punish us for wanting to play?

Thats dumb Multiplayer is suppose to be competitive and to rank up to unlock stuff. To stop players so other people can catch up is dumb like why even put multiplayer. Thats like putting a level cap in Call of Duty so everybody can catch up to your prestige so they’re not left behind like really.

I’m okay with a cap, but I hit it a few hours ago and completed a few challenges without trying to so I wasted those opportunities. Just really curious as to when it resets…
i jus wana say that 343, i was impressed when i played the game when i first put it in. having a blast, but now a rank cap u have completely ruined halo and the way its been from the xbox live multiplayer from halo 2. i think u guys are idiots for doing this, if people are going to boost, they will find a way to boost, but now uve pissed off the people who dont boost, and guess what i know that u will loose over half the people that play this game if u keep it on there. so congratulations for being idiots.

LOL Halo is the ONLY progression FPS to do this and its downright STUPID!
Sorry, i got the game at midnight and wanted to play all day… hit the cap at 6am
and now all my commendations are wasted when i get them

^this. the original RANK cap in Reach drove off a lot of people, and the EXP (which is what Reach and H4 have)cap drove off just as many.
To make it worse, H4 has a double xp promotion so you hit the cap in 4-5 hours which is just pathetic.
and im guessing there not going to take it off, so as much as it would suck, but boycott the game nobody should play it till they take it off, cuz im sure 343 would love the fact they came out with a brand new game and nobody play thats prolly gona be the only way
I’m wondering if your dub-xp games are lost b.c. of this… I’ll be pretty pissed if I keep playing and getting no XP but waste away my double XP.

Yeah and with double xp it only takes 4 or 5 hours

It’s really easy to rank up.
To others: the cap is there to make you have a life. Aka, so you could go out for a bit (few hours) and then come back. Maybe those hours you can sleep?
I actually reached 24 pretty easily I think considering that I’ve been spending a fair amount on Campaign and Multiplayer. Its not that hard to rank up.
I do think the XP cap sucks though, they should have expected people to have double xp from the promotions.
