I can not stand that there is no real ranking system in 4. There are plenty of pros for why even the halo 2 or 3 systems are better than no system, but I do not want to argue that,I want to just say give us 2 playlists, social and ranked.
You have all the kids crying that we should enjoy the game without the number by our name. I like ranked playlists because it encourages me to play more than one playlist to get all of my ranks the highest I can. I do not want to play with guest players as they are usually not as good and encourage childish behaviors. I want to play on a team that has something at stake if they lose.
If you do not want to play with a rank, then go to social where no one cares about rank! No one will judge you there for you rank or lack of rank. You can enjoy your game with your guests there, I will enjoy my ranking, we never have to cross paths.

Nope, just stating my opinion which I should of said in my other post. I’m all for making the fanbase happy.

it’s jerks like you that cause so much friction between the two communities. You can easily just stay in your social playlists but nooooo you have to whine and complain that us competitive players get our own playlists.

Because too many people come here and complain about it, just because they could never get those 50s or higher levels, if they cant have those, no one can. So they use the sad excuses of boosters, delevers and things like selling accounts (which never EVER affects them) to make this game an “everyone is a winner” type game. Halo 3 was the end of competitiveness in the Halo series.

You do realize that I could easily switch the words social and Competitive and the sentence would still be valid. And before you unload on me all it takes is a quick forum scan to see both sides are being quite vocal about their opinion.

Heck I might just go back to Halo 3 until they take that offline like they did Halo 2 (which I would still be playing if they didn’t remove it)
I wish Halo 4 would have a ranked and social playlist. It was nice having those close games and seeing where you were. I never made it to 50 on Halo 3 and that was fine by me, I figured maybe I wasn’t that good. Then I would go into social to relax and have some fun when I wasn’t being competitive. So I’m a yes on this one.

Um no, competitive players don’t want to take away social playlists.
Your argument is invalid.
Don’t like rank? Don’t play ranked playlists. It’s that simple. Now because we are all forced to play together, you are going to get stomped by competitive players like me.
