I’m a dad of 3. Let me start off.
I get to play here and there. Mainly play 3v3. No team. All randoms.
My team is hardly ever good. I know I’m way better then a gold 20. Yeah sure. 1v1. Sweaty nerds in there. And 2v2 is just quit central.
I just wished there was a way to not get a team mate that builds 4 expos. And a handful of marines. I build Air cause its cheap and easy at my level. Hit and run base snipes so that my team would do something.
Guess I’m looking for more people to play with.
Dad troubles.
Most of my loses are from randoms who do not build an army. I’ve personally found you have to either one, remove an enemy really quick or two, build a strong army and steadily hold the map as best you can until your teamates have upgraded everything and built that condor or scarab they were going for. Obviously I’m talking about those times when you have teammates who are inexperienced…
Tbh not everyone is horrible and sometimes you end up playing with some great people (often much better than yourself), I’ve found this community is generally more mature than other games and there’s plenty of good guys here very willing to help. Btw my situation is much the same as you, a dad who plays when they can. Also I encourage you to play 1’s, I’m much more succesful there personally and it makes you a better player overall.

Yeah I know what ya mean. I’ve been playing more 1v1s. Played another last night and did really well.
