Randomly received free gold packs

So I just finished a Warzone FF match (we won) and lvl:ed up to SR 93. After the game I checked the scoreboard and it says I got 7 packs. It turns out I got 6 free gold packs with my promotion pack. Any reason why I got these packs because I’m honestly really confused.

Warzone Firefight has commendations that when completed, awards you with gold packs.
