Randomly getting lagged out of H5 servers...why?

Since 343 and whoever manages the matchmaking system won’t eliminate or reduce the insane 30 csr lagout penalty. I need to figure out why I randomly disconnect from the H5 servers and lagout of games. It happens to me with seemingly no rhyme or reason to it whatsoever. After it happens in such way my connection seems perfect again instantly. Is it internet service provider, bad cables, faulty or inadequate router, simply too far from the halo 5 servers, ect? I need to get this figured cause my rank and csr keep getting destroyed and held back every time it happens and it’s extremely frustrating. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

That’s strange, did you run a test with your internet connection? I use to have that struggle in the first few months of Halo 5’s launch and again when I got my Series X. Turned out to be an issue with my Nats not being open and then closing again when I got the new console.

Yeah nats always open with good download/ upload stats, no packet loss, and low latency. Got cat6 direct connect to router. Im almost concluding that its just my isp issued router that cannot handle gaming or something. Or that im just to far away from the servers.

You’re not alone. It’s a known problem and every single person I’ve played with experiences it. I went on a rant even telling a guy to hardwire his xbox, check all his settings and refresh his router only for me to end up lagging out a few matches after he did when I check all those boxes before each game session.

It’s random bro. It happens in the pre game lobby, during a match, right before it ends, etc. For many people, this is a problem that ONLY happens in halo 5. Checking all that stuff can help your own connections stability, but unfortunately you’ll still experience either you or team mates lagging out.

On my pre game lobby screen sometimes I blurt out “DASHBOARD DASHBOARD HURRY UP” because I see our team mates emblem go from his emblem to the loading in animation and I tell them he’s lagging out on my screen so we all dashboard even though on his screen he’s in the lobby still. I’m 100% sure he would have ended up lagging out right before the game starts or something stupid. We all jump right back in without him doing anything to his internet settings and bam. Next match loads in perfect.

So as far as I know man…it’s just something outa your control. I had people I used to game with just Uninstall halo 5 because for some odd reason they experienced it more than others and just couldn’t stand the impact it has.

I’d say this happens once each play session for me. Not me specifically, but a random team mate lags out. They’re even still in party chat. Pretty upsetting most times unless we clutch a 3v4…but if we lose a 3v4 where we were calculated to have won fairly easily… man we lose a ton of progress bar…even tho supposedly you lose less.

So yea man… it happens. There may be people who say it’s never happened to them, but that in no way means it doesn’t happen to many others.

It seems to happen to me whenever I play south americans/mexican players.

Pretty much. I have written about this multiple times, but it gets ignored by 343. Probably because I have a bad rep. But realistically speaking, they can view my games and see that I am telling the truth about the game. Soooo, they need to figure it out. I will continue to post about it because it takes seconds to post about and I have nothing better to do. They can continue to ignore the problems, but as long as it is documented. That is all that matters.
