Let me start by letting you know, 100%, without a doubt, that my internet is not to blame for the issue I’m experiencing.
For a long time now I have been getting randomly booted from about 1 out of every 4 or 5 matches I play.
Sometimes at the beginning, sometimes in the middle, sometimes at the very end when I’ve worked hard for the past seven minutes to secure a win.
I’ll be playing, and then all of a sudden, without warning I’m just pushed out of the match and brought to the playlist selection screen, still a part of my fireteam, waiting to join them.
My internet hasn’t dropped out, I remain in my party chat if I’m in one, but the game just decides that I’m done with that match.
This has been happening for a while now and I haven’t seen many other people complain of this on the forum.
As you can imagine this is extremely frustrating. Every match while playing, I have it in the back of my mind “Oh, I’m about to get booted any second now”
That’s pretty sad if you ask me. I can hardly enjoy the game because of it.
This is the only game I have any trouble with at all.
I imagine it has to be the terrible servers 343 are running this game on. I’ve heard of many other server issues that players are experiencing as well.
And if this happens to me three times in a short amount of time, then I get banned from matchmaking.
It’s getting to the point where I might as well not even play to save myself the aggravation.
If I was someone who used xp & rp boosts, that would be even worse because those would be getting wasted. But I usually sell all of those.
So am I the only one?
Or is this a common problem?
I had my internet drop out twice last night in the middle of sweaty arena games. Posted about it in the support forum but nothing exactly like you mentioned although some of my Spartan Company seem to experience this issue.
It happens to me too but wait for the “fanboys” to tell you its your internet, there is a large thread about this on the support forums that has gone ignored for a while now by 343I
Every time one of this “fanboys” tells me to fix my internet I pose the same question and they never answer back.
How come the very same day Halo 5 keeps kicking me out of games I can play CoD ghosts, Destiny, BF4, BFH, Diablo 3 (online), Sunset Overdrive (Online) etc without issues?
its not your internet its the servers…they have a tendency to get buggy for a week or so and then go back to normal…suck for sure
I have the exact same problem. It typically happens to me during Warzone Matches. It’s happened enough to the point where the fireteam I usually play with have noticed it too.
Sooooo tired of getting kicked out of games. It happens more often during the day than night. When am i suppose to play this stupid game at 1am to 6am? geezus!
This happens to me every 2-5 games as well. The kicker being that one I’m kicked it cannot access the matchmaker lobby again OR the REQ store. I have to force close the game from the Xbox Live dashboard, relaunch the game only to play another 2-5 games before having to repeat the process. Not my internet because I can turn to my computer and load any website I please while the game tells me to screw myself. Getting real tired of this garbage. Its been months since release, player counts have stabilized. There is ZERO excuse to have shoddy servers now.

I had something very similar to this heres how I fixed it. Hard reset your Xbox One- thats all it took, hold down the power button of your X1 until it turns off, wait 5 seconds and turn it back on again. Hope this helps.
As far as I understand it, it’s a server side issue. Which definitely sucks.
I think it’s the holiday high traffic issue.
I have damn ungodly good fibre internet and virtually zero ping. So I know it’s not my internet when I get randomly booted like this.
I’ve had moments where I’m driving an oni warthog or tank with a gunner and a couple of guys around me using my vehicle as cover and fire support when I’ve been randomly booted, and my first reactions besides “what the f*** I was having fun there!” is “so that entire team work thing was just trashed”
Happens to me too. 343 promised to make Halo 5 better than Halo MCC but the servers still suck
343 needs to fix this issue because its been happening to me for a while now.

Exact same thing happens to me. Pissed. Something needs to be done to fix this
