I have not played in a while, a month or two at the minimum and I come back to play and I got a massive ban message. I am not sure if it is a bug or a mistake or what could have happened to be completely honest. I am an Insider as well and have participated in the flights more than once. I do not abruptly leave games or anything either, not even in the past. The message states:
> You have been temporarily banned from playing matchmaking.
> Ban will be lifted on 7/24/2552 at 8PM
Given the weird and very long year, I am guessing it was an error or a bug. If I can provide anything else please just let me know.
No a bug OP, bans until 2552 are permanent bans and only handed out for things like modding online, manipulating matchmaking, etc. If you think your ban was made in error, you can file a ban appeal on the Halo Support site: http://support.halowaypoint.com/

I already did that, waiting for a reply. Also someone brought to my attention that people were spoofing names… Is it possible my name was spoofed by someone else and it resulted in a ban? As the ban date was days before I tried to play (when I posted this ticket), and I did not play before that. Last time I played was like late May, and I came back to play after a while and that’s what I am greeted with.
Any update on this? I’ve been seeing name spoofing popping up a lot on modded accounts.

Still banned, and no answer to my ticket. It’s been over 2 months.
