I’m not sure if this has been discovered before or posted in here before, but I found out the other day that if you select one of the Random Weapon REQ cards, you can then use that same level of req card to continuously refill that weapon instead of getting a random weapon each time. For example: If you pick a level 4 random REQ card and it gives you a sniper, you can use that sniper until it runs out of ammo. If you select the Level 4 random REQ again for that weapon slot, it will give you another sniper instead of a random weapon. I got an invincible the other day using this trick by having the ability to continuously refill my sniper rifle for 4 REQ levels.
Oh wow, this sounds like a glitch but it’s useful either way. Nice find!
I think I refilled the sniper about 5 times using it. By the time I was out of ammo I was easily back up to the 4 req levels I needed to do it all over again.
I may have to stop selling my random cards. I always end up getting a boltshot or some other worthless variant.
If you get lucky enough to get a legendary or mythic weapon from a level 5 you can just keep refilling it for 5 REQ levels as long as you can stay alive with it.
Need to try this when I find time. Nice find!
I’ll link the file of the match here later on as proof of this

Alright, do you think it’s a glitch or an intended feature?
i noticed this a long time ago and just thought i kept getting lucky still getting a sniper lol

I think it’s a combination of both. I think it falls under the “Would you like to refill this weapon” deal when you use a REQ to replace the same type of REQ but since you used the random REQ it still acts as a refill since there’s already a random REQ in that spot, it just takes away the random element to it after the first one and refill your existing weapon that you got from the original random REQ card.
Will it work if I’m level 6, buy a sniper and then try to refill it with a random weapon req?

Good explanation, it makes sense.

No, I’m pretty sure it has to be a matching random REQ card for it to work so you just have to get lucky enough to get a weapon you really like from the random req you used. It’s worth a try but I don’t think it works that way.

No, I think it must originate from the random weapon requisition in order to work. I tried already

Thanks for the sacrafice lol. Glad to have a definite answer so I don’t need to go try it.
Wait, are you saying I used a random req, missed all my binary rifle shots, and wished there was more ammo when I could have just use the random req again to get more? UN. FRIGGEN. BELIEVABLE.
P.S. I wonder if that works with plasma weapons that can’t pick up ammo.

Eh, no, it doesn’t.
No way! That’s crazy! I wanna try!
