it could be a lot of fun if we are told where they will be falling, next its time to compete for the area in which they drop. Its kind of similar to weapon spawns that exist right now. Not too big a difference if u ask me
Yeah I like the pod idea, and getting an update where they will drop could be interesting
Just make sure you aren’t standing in its path or BOOM you are dead.
As i remember correctly, didn’t frankie say their aren’t random as it says at all?
Ya and if these “drop pods” arent restricted to guns that could be A LOT of fun.
I think it’s a great idea to mix up map balance.
Just wondering whether it’ll turn every match into a game of King of the Hill when the weapon drops. If it weren’t announced, that’d be fine, but I hear it will be.

The problem is that it ruins the Map Control portion of the Halo formula, where keeping control of good areas will reward your team. With random weapon drops, you will not be rewarded by controlling the best areas of the map. You will have to break set ups to get weapons. That’s just another way to cater to the randoms and casuals.
Only in fiesta.
This is actually one innovation that I liked. If feels similar to that invasion slayer, except everyone is not really competing for the drops until after they have done so.
