Random Weapon Drop Monkey Wrench

I don’t know why I pick that title but anyways, I do believe the random weapon drop is cool but is it really a good fix to the usual weapon spawn point system?

Here’s one issue that may throw in a monkey wrench to this new outlook. In most halo games, those that obtain the power weapons can hold down and camp in certain sections and remember the next time cycle. The obvious next move would to ditch the empty weapon and go for the new one, repeat cycle.

Halo 4 with its random weapon drop, how random will it be? does it massively vary in the entire sandbox that any power weapon could spawn on that map regardless which will work best or just be like Romeo saying “how the yoink am I suppose to use this inside a covenant ship?” Where it’ll be odd to have an energy sword on a map design for BTB. Just how random…

Another thing to point out which relates to typical weapon spawn system, what if someone were to hold those weapons they picked up from drop and held them for the entire 11 minutes and 50 seconds or 8 minutes and 50 seconds etc. do more weapon drops with said same weapon appear or not appear at all because some yoink is holding on the empty shell?

Its still a cool idea and not thoroughly explain yet, but the “holding down to camp area” could still be possible if the *holding empty shell, not respawn weapon" method applies…
