I want a good 30 to 40 hour campaign, I know that’s very long for a traditional Halo, but you asked.
Q1) Same, plasma rifle.
Q2) 17.5years, I started on the original Xbox, but I’m over twice your age.
Q3) Halo CE, it started it all.
Q4) It’s too grindy because of rng reqs.
Q5) Rng loot in Halo 5.
I think the campaign will be slightly longer than average, maybe 15-18hrs.
Q1) I like using the AR in bursts- it’s less effective in the given scenario, but using the AR skillfully instead of spraying and praying with it can be very satisfying.
Q2) Been playing Halo for a decade! Started with Reach when I was almost fourteen years old.
Q3) Halo Reach was my gateway drug into Halo, and it’s my favorite to this day. I understand why people are critical of it, however. Halo 3 is an exceptionally close second.
Q4) I think Guardians has tight gameplay and an impressive sandbox, but I really dislike the REQ system and there’s a serious lack of gametypes and modes to take advantage of the staggering amount of sandbox elements. A good traditional Firefight mode in Halo 5 would’ve massively improved it’s appeal to me. I don’t think entirely blaming mobility mechanics for the game’s faults is a good argument.
Q5) Not the end of the world, but I’ve got memories of being annoyed like crazy by people spamming Armor Lock and melee weapons (almost always sword) in Halo: Reach.
If Infinite is open world then at least 40 hours

Q4) Halo 5 was the biggest letdown for me personally. The marketing didn’t fulfill the epic showdown between Chief and Locke and the campaign overall was meh. Wasn’t a fan of warzone and microtransactions either … MP was okay.
Q5) Halo 5’s lootboxes, microtransactions, armor design and campaign. Overall the vibe of Halo right now …
… Buuut I’m optimistic of 343 learning from their mistakes and making Halo Infinite a banger!!

Of the two options, plasma rifle hands down. But I’d prefer a plasma pistol/BR combo (noooob combooooo)

That so much is riding on Infinite being a good game. It’s a lot of pressure to put on a developer, even if a good chunk of the responsibility for the pressure is on their performance with the series thus far
