I turned them off, but when I had them on, it was red for enemies and yellow for teammates.
Purple for allies and green for foes. I still need to try turning outlines off, I haven’t yet because they give such an advantage.
I’m glad RvB is gone, but I don’t like the enemies having outlines personally. I’d rather just teammates have them that way we can’t get free spots because of the bright outline.
They used to have balance the colours of the maps so neither red or blue had advantages in certain areas.
I imagine that’s a big part of using outlines too.
Good question! It’s neat that many people change their colors. I especially like seeing the flag and other objectives in different colors
Team = green
Enemy = purple
I didn’t think about changing my fireteam colors to be different than my other team colors. That’s a great idea.
This is an interesting and informative perspective on the use of alternate colors. Thanks for sharing!
Blue friendly Red enemy.
I’d swap enemies to Yellow so I’d have a more classic energy shield look, however I don’t like having enemies being yellow on my motion tracker when that has been friendly to me for 20 years.
Hopefully more color options can be added in the future!
I’d like to have enemy team color Red, enemy outline yellow, and enemy motion tracker red.
Default. Forgot I even had the option to change it.
I like using either green for allies with purple for enemies for a more Human Vs Covenant feel, or using blue for allies and yellow for enemies, purely so that shield flares look similar to legacy titles.
Respect. Same here, only I’d turn the outline opacity way wayyyy down.
I use yellow for my team, Makes it easier to see them on the map and what they are doing, and purple for enemies, makes it easier to see weaker shields.
Noticed a lot of pros were using this so made the switch, as i as using yellow for enemies for a while.
this is probably stupid but when i play landgrab and the area an enemy has occupied is highlighted with their outline color it makes it difficult to see them… is this intentional or is it possible to set each to different colors?
