Random Question: What Color Outlines Do You Use?

Just a random question, because I’m curious.

What color outlines do you use for the other players?

I personally use blue for teammates and purple for enemies.

Yellow for enemy. Green for friendly.

But a lot of people are using the bright gold armour - so there has been an increase in friendly fire over the last couple of weeks.

Green for team and orange for enemy, thought the darkish-bright orange makes it hard to see markets, but I keep it so bright colors are on my screen. You should try purple or yellow if you want there to still be a highlight but not be distracting.

I’ve tested quite a few different colors but at the moment, I use the Mint green outline for enemies and my allies are Cerulean Blue and my Fireteam is Sky blue. I found that the green outline sticks out the most for me personally.

I said this in another thread but I’ve had enemies run right by me while I was wearing the gold armor.

I’ve landed on a version of red (don’t remember the name, but not the default), friendlies are green, fireteam is a blue.

Red for enemies, Green for friendlies. I think I made fireteam blue, but I’m not sure since I play solo 99.9% of the time.

Green for Team, Red for Enemy.

I was actually quite thrown off with the defaults.

Red are enemies
Blue are friendlies
Mint for squad

I used to use pineapple for my enemies because it stood out the best, but when you played something like bazaar or fragmentation when facing the sun, people just disappear with pineapple

Default. I wish there was an option to turn off outlines and make never have red/blue (or whatever colors you use) armor though instead.

Bright gold, every time. I have a colorblindness issue - Deuteranopia, and the reds that are available do not register clearly without eye strain against the… Well, everything.

Green for allies is bad because they’re hue pitched close enough that I accidentally friendly fire if everyone’s green, so I pitch it to a blue I don’t need to see clearly.

It feels like there’s a CONSTANT VISR mode on but bright yellow contrasts with MOST things in Halo: Infinite, so my target acquisition is a lot faster than it would be otherwise.

As far as I can tell, most people aren’t using red.

Yeah it’s an issue.

It’d be what most would prefer yeah, even I’d like that. But, as it stands, well. It’s likely not changing and that’s something I strongly dislike.

I’m old school, so Red (for enemy), Blue (for friendly), & a lighter Blue (for party members).

I actually changed to red for a game this week.

Two of my team-mates were sporting the C3PO look.

Not that I could complain - because I made three.

Red For Friendly.
Blue for Hostile.
Orange for Squaddies.

Got a soft spot for wearing the “bad guy” colors and mixing up the status quo.
