Random ordinance has to -Yoinking!- go.

Anyone with any sensible mind when it comes to a multiplayer versus game. Nothing can be this random it doesent work, this game is already dying out, people are tired of having the ordinance system ruin basic team slayer and big team slayer. Slayer population shrunk 66% in a single week. People are fine with the perks, armor ability and the likes, even DMR. What most people dont like is when you randomly get crap ordinance or when their enemy gets godlike ordinance.

The higher you are in the hidden true skill system to player of competent qualiber, the more the ordinance system show its -Yoinking!- ugly flaws.

I was having a fun match of team slayer on haven. Both team had score within 2-3 kill from one another, we were winning but it was only a slight lead, then we reach that time when we all get our ordinances. The best our team had all game was a scatter shot and one damage boost. Personnaly both my ordinance were needler, speed boost and grenades, second one had pulse grenades instead of human ones (yippy).

The enemy team had 2 beam rifles during the game, 1 unsc sniper, 1 binary rifle and 1 incinerator cannon. I mean good -Yoinking!- god can this system make the match more -Yoinking!- loop sided on randomness or what? I think the only worse thing that could have happened is if ordinance dropped a -Yoinking!- mantis or scorpion… actually nvm those are easy to hijack on such a small map with plasma pistol. Dodging the binary rifle with my super awesome speed boost guys, jk he just hit me in the foot!

I am not opening this game to play anything but custom game or team sniper until this -Yoink- is fixed, its the very worse system for weapon spawn in the history of video game, im not even kidding. Even recent cods areless random, thats really, really hard to beat. I dare anyone to name me one multiplayer fps with a worst weapon management system, i cant think of one, i played all of them since original quake 2, the first real online fps.

Im not sure how 343 could have made a game with such good potential, then when it came to ordinance, instead of making a concret drop system that was fair, they tought, lets make this as random as we can? Since when do multiplayer players want random stuff to impact the game so much… never saw any players demand for something random to impact the game since quake 2 days. Why would it be a good idea in 2012? Who the hell knows what went threw their heads lol.

Its not ordinance itself that is a bad idea, its how random they made it. First a gun like incineration cannon should never be random ordinance in team slayer haven game. I saw it twice, so yeah its rare and thats exactly the problem. Its so rare that when it happens it instantly turn the match toward who ever won that crap.

If both teams are good, there is no way to stop someone with such a weapon with needlers and shotguns or dmrs. They will just hide and take your team down, because they have such a huge advantage. That match was a worse outlier because they keep getting all kinds of sniper and stuff. It needs to not be random, its the only -Yoinking!- way this can be solved. It needs to drop things that make sense for the map and that both team can get the exact same benifit in every match.

Some people will try to say stuff like perks and loadout hell even spawns ruining the game as much, but it doesent loadout, perks, anything of the sort even killstreak in cod, weapon timer and random spawns closer to armor locations in unreal tournament and quake, those arent random. You know what they have, were they got it, you can get it too. The ordinance not so much, its a roll of dice, if the dice roll 1 for all your team and all 6 for the enemy team, you need to be 5 times better then they are to counter the rolls. Its not a system that works.

Maybe the playlist population dropped because of this little known game call Call of Duty?

I know about 6 or 7 people that stopped playing Halo 4 cold turkey to jump on CoD. Not because Halo 4 sucks or anything annoyed them, just because it’s well, Call of Duty.

The infinity slayer play list is smaller then even halo reach one 2 months before halo 4 launch, this game has less people playing slayer then what reach had when MW3 launched. But lets just say its all call of duty. Explain to me why you believe the ordinance random system is good? Its about the worst system any fps ever had for weapons and power ups? I dont think even world of warcraft pvp promote something that random, thats saying alot lol.

Yeah I do not like the random ordinance, sometimes it seems like the whole other team is getting rockets/snipers and my team is getting needlers

Ordnance, not ordinance, there’s no either/or here. You do an ordinance survey for map making, you call in ordnance for weapons. There’s an immense difference between the meaning of the two words. They’re not interchangeable.
