I did not. Always good to learn something new from Halo. I assumed it was purely a Brute invention.
To add to the topic, one of my favorite pieces of trivia is how Halo CE’s codename was changed from “Monkey Nuts” to “BLAM!” because Jason Jones did not want his mom to see the former name. At least, I’m pretty sure that’s the story behind it!
